During my stay I visited a few nearby locations like anyone going abroad would. My favorite was Germany’s oldest town, Trier. There was a lot of beautiful and historic sites in Trier such as Porta Nigra, Karl Marx’s house, Trier-Dom, and an old Roman Bathhouse. Frankfurt is also an amazing city but in a different way from Trier. Frankfurt has a lot of nice shopping spots and museums. It was very convenient to visit as its only an hour away from Nieder-Olm and free for students to travel via train. .
